Question weired results from boolean subtract

Hi,

i am having 2 objects. i want to subtract the inner from the outter object, so the outter object has a hole in the shape of the inner object.



however, the result of the subtraction looks like this:



what am i doing wrong here ?

Check normals - press 'n'. Flip any that are not facing out.

Perhaps triangulate the large circle polys before the boolean.

Thanks. Just tried it out, and flipping them to face out seems to do the trick.
