Unhappy How do I warp an entire complex object at once.

Does anyone know if AC3D can warp an entire, complicated object as a simpler shape rather than having to move them by vertices? I'm sure this has a name in this community and I don't know it. 3Dmodeller had something like this, where you can activate a function that surrounds your object with a simple grid-box. You can then pull or push, squash, etc. individual vertices on this box and the object inside will morph according to the stressor in a smooth, algorhythmic fashion. For example, I have built a roman coliseum using repetitive arches, sections, etc. and laid each colonnade 'face' around a radial plan. Now I want to wonk it a bit so that the top edges lean into the center a bit and seem to loom over a character inside. I wish I could just convince the program I made a cylinder (which it basically is) and just select the top circle of vertices, shrink them to scale and voila! a truncated cone is left... with a lot of arches.

Is this possible?
