Question AC3D limitations for maya ????

Hi !

Now am using AC3D for import maya objects into SL.I need to know what are limitations while using AC3D to import maya objects into SL.What is the maximum limit of Polygons(which used in Maya) to import into SL by using AC3D.I need exact limitaions.

I assume you are using the SL triange loader? If so, each triangle will lead to one prim. The limit of using the triangle loader in SL is based on the maximum size of a note file (which is a text file attached to an object). Each line of text from the .tri file, which is pasted into the note, represents one triangle.

The boat used in the video has around 800 triangles. I can't seem to find the max size of a note but if you can find this and divide it by the number of characters in an average line of a tri file, you should find the max number of triangles that you can load in one go.
