Default question about Texture

Hi,
a question regarding an extension of existing areas in the model.
I've been deleted from an existing model faces and these openings will close again. The area I get closed but the newly added areas are white and do not have the texture of the difference in surfaces. How do I get out there, that newly created space within the model occupies the same with the right texture, without this re-assign and adjust the size and orientation must be.
So again for understanding: It revolves around a helicopter fuselage in the inset into the grille is an original. So I removed the grille and simply closed to new areas.
I would be very grateful for your help.

Hallo zusammen,

Default Re: question about Texture

Originelles Objekt.

Loch im Objekt.

Neue Flaeche erstellt, aber in "weissen" Material.

Material 5 selektieren.

Default Re: question about Texture

I believe it is not the material but rather the UV-mapping he's trying to apply seamlessly.

The only way to do that is via the TCE. Select the added surface, combine it with the surrounding structure and make sure it has the same texture assigned.
Then select this surface and the adjacent surfaces and enter the TCE.

You can then move the UVvertices of your added surface into position and the texture will match.
