Torus Wanted
Does anyone have a Torus that I can add to the AC3D shapes. Thanks.

Re: Torus Wanted
Add a circle in front view, and a second in top view.

Re: Torus Wanted
In Object mode, select the small circle then shift select the large circle (order matters!) Then choose Object->Extrude along path. Change to Vertex mode and delete the half that isn't closed...

Re: Torus Wanted
Finally, choose Object -> Mirror -> X+ (or as appropriate), then vertex mode, Vertex->Snap together by distance and Vertex->Weld.
This final image shows a couple of levels of subdivision as well. I make these fresh each time because its much easier to edit the individual pieces before the extrude since I rarely want a perfect torus shape. |

Re: Torus Wanted
That's a nice illustrated tutorial for extruding along a line but for a torus, it's probably faster to create a circle and use Object->Revolve. There's a small example in the AC3D manual (available from the help menu).
