Default How to move whole object to one vertice's desired location

Hello all,
this is what I missing in AC3D, or maybe I only do not know, how to do it.

Let you Imagine, that I have two general objects, which one should folow up second in a certain way, so for example their border vertices should share the same positions. I can select reference vertice from each object, which both should be at the same position, but actually they are not.

So, question is, what way can I move one of object, so that it's reference vertice go to the position of second object's reference vertice, so that they could be welded for example.

Any idea, any simple guide how to do it?

Many thanks,
