Question Just one question:

Okay, I have opened an .obj, and I've selected it. How do I harden it so that it is landable?

I believe you will find that objects have little Hard status in X-Plane. They are just foreign 3D picture things drawn at a specified location. X-Plane does not know or care about the object's shape and boundaries. Try putting an X-Plane landing gear on your fusalage and X-Plane wheels will relate to the ground. You might have to employ a transparent fusalage. Your object fusalage picture is just there as a non-descript thing.

Oh, I guess you misunderstood me, I was talking about buildings with helipads on them...
