If anyone have any good collection of textures that might be good for Proteus...

I m makinng a short animation with a simle texture and some glow in engines. Once its ready I 'm going to upload it..

I agree, ac3d automatically triangulates quads, even if we dont see.
That automatical triangulation isnt always the best so its better to do it manually. but this should only bother u in case u are modeling something lowpoly. Subdivide means highpoly .. so the angle between the different surfaces is very small, u dont have to care about triangulation...
btw, the result between subdivided quads and subdivided triangles is quite big...

i ll search on my hdd for some textures for u

Yes. Of course all in the 3d space are triangles. Anyway...
With the subdivision, the surfaces are many, abiut 120768... And the "bumpy" that exists makes it a cool mothership....
The textures are the half of something. If a model has not good textures on it, then it's a half job...
