Default An other newbie:) lol

Hello folks,
My name is Rondo and i am new inhere and also to AC3D.
I have reading a lot sins i have this program.....a lot of usefull info , even tried to follow a tut i found about "molding" but allaz the result whas not as i tought it should be ..have no idea what i whas doing wrong and hard to exsplain for the moment. ? i gues it shall be in the "little" details i gues i did something wrong..
But ? what should be the right approach to start with AC3D?

Start with these tutorial movies
They should help you get the basics of AC3D.

Thats what i did,i followed the tut for making the winecup, had troubles with the exstrude command,becaurse i could not find correctly the vertexes he said to exstrude, and when i got that? and finist, it came out as a ball in second life...
It seems i have troubles with the uv map and TCE

I made a quick video of how to make the wine glass into a sculpty:

Here's a picture of the finished sculpty. Note the settings, since it's a shell I'm using a cylindrical wrap. It's hollow because I didn't model the inside. If you did you'd need to wrap that, too.
