Default US Civil War ironclads

Attached you will see an image of USS "Monitor" (in the background) and USS "Benton", both modelled in AC3D and seen in 3D Exploration. Although both ships fought at the same time (1862) it is clear that the future was with the "Monitor" and not with the "Benton".
They look both like museum models, which is exactly the impressin I wished to convey.

Well,
First to finish off the "Benton" (should be done in about 48 hours), and then I'll start on USS "Choctaw", a large ironclad with paddle wheels and a weird shape. At the moment I am quite interested by ironclads of the US Civil War because it was the first industrial war and both sides went to the very limits of the then available technology. I'd like to try my hand at one or two Confederate ironclads, but I don't know where two get drawings. Found nothing really useful on the Internet.

I agree, people were building really odd shapped ships in this times.
I even wonder if the smalest one was really stable when floating (I suppose yes).
One note about the textures of the other one (the biggest) : try to avoid having too much obvious repeats in your texture (like this is the case for the wood on the floor).
