Furniture in AC3D?

Hello People

I wonder if it is possible to make furniture in ac3D, i gues it is ....but how? i have some knowlish about making furniture , lol, but in RL .I should be quit supriced if furniture could be made in 1 piece in AC3D!So? how do i do it if i have to make it in more then 1 piece if i wanne use it in SL? . But thats for later

1st i should like to know how to make it ....with torn or twistet stool and tables legs....
If any1 could lighten me a bit on the subject i should be gratefull
