Default ok How about a material editor.

Ok maybe I am spoiled by VrmlPad, it has an material editor to set the base material of an object. This has led me to use very little textures in my vrml objects. Now once an object is imported to vrml then I can set the trasparency node (0-100%), This ability would be great in ac3d, I see that you can change the ambient, emissive, spectacular, and shine in the settings, and of course the base color in the editor itself, but not the trasparency. Then again maybe I am wrong, is there a way to set the trasparency in AC3D?

guess who? if you pick one of the materials at the bottom, and edit the properties the transparecy is the last on the list, if you dont want to screw up any texture you might have applied, change the diffuse to the same color. see what u think?!
