Ok guys its all good. Didn't mean to stir the pot too much here or anything. wow! I just simply thought Andy might have a target date he is working for. I am certainly not going to hold him to it or get upset if it didn't happen. I am just excited to get it because this program is one of the best I have used. It is so user friendly and great to use that animation would be a great addition. So it's all good guys. I'll just sit back and be patient. Thanks all.

Hmm.. currently, it DOES have animation. In 3D view, you can swing your mouse and have the object rotate indefinately, in real time. So it does animate it in that respect.

All you would need (for even a plug in) is to take snap shots of the image at xx second intervals, and concatinate them into a .gif file. Or, have a button that you press to add a frame. All we need is a CTRL-PRTSCRN function and copy/paste clipboard in one macro.

what you're describing is not animation. It's merely interface

Animation is making the various parts of the model move and react in relation to other parts of the model, to other objects, physics models, etc. Rotating the model is just an interface feature that allows the modeler to better see what he's doing.
