Default Insert n vertices

I'm actually in need of slicing a surface in 59 equal parts.
So I'm dividing (calculating) the distance between two vertices of an edge by 59 and then with a knife : slice / move the knife / slice / move the knife ................

That's why I just thought it could be neat to be able to specify a number of vertices for the 'insert vertice' command .

Default Re: Insert n vertices

... just found a better way to slice my surface in 59 equal parts by using a mesh object (59 x 1).
But I still think that an update to the 'insert vertex' command could be useful.

EDIT : not an update to the actual function but another function (sub-menu).
