Default clip board resolution

Can the resolution of the images copied to the clipboard be increased?

I need 300 dpi images of my models

Helpful bunch LOL.

Ok let me rephrase my question. Can I use povray or something to render a 300dpi image of my models that I can use for printing?

You could use an external renderer yes. You could so try printing to a non-printer driver such as "Microsoft print to PDF" that will give you a higher resolution image.

Thank you Andy. Printing to Bullzip pdf printer allowed me to get it into Inkscape where I can export a high res raster.
