Object origins
Hi,
I started to make a spacecraft for a Unity game I'm working on. Now I've got the problem that the object origins are always on 0, 0, 0 and the objects are rotating arround the spacecrafts position and not arround their own middle. (I hope you know, what I mean) Is there a way to set the origin to the middle of the object? A cube on 2, 2, 2 with size 2, 2, 2 should have the origin at 3, 3, 3 and not at 0, 0, 0 Best regards, Willi |

Re: Object origins
I'm not sure what file format you are using for unity but,
AC3D maintains an 'object centre' which is an xyz position. If you switch on "object centres" in the main orth window, you should see small crosses. These will be moved along with the object unless you move it in vertex or Surface select modes. Using menu Object->re-centre will readjust this to the centre of the object. Or, you can change the specific value by adjusting Loc in the Object Property editor (Tools menu). |
