Default Grouping Sub-Groups

Anyone know a way of grouping sub-groups? I can group items at the highest level in the hierarchy - but once they are one level down there is no "group" function available. My work around is to use "New Animation" in the X-Plane plugin but would prefer something more straight forward.

Grouping/ungrouping will always work at the top level but you can drag and drop within the hierarchy-view to move stuff around.

Thanks Andy

Yes thats what I do sometimes.... Would be more convenient in the hierarchy though. Is there any way of dragging or moving 2 or more groups up the hierarchy at the same time?

Also - would it be possible to colour highlight the group level in the hierarchy when its been selected - at the moment it stays uncoloured so its not clear if its selected (where as the contained polys go green).
