Default font for Linux AC3D
The font used on AC3D 3.6 for Linux was:
"*-helvetica-medium-*-*-12-*" I want to change this to a nicer looking font for 4.0. I have tried: "*-helvetica-medium-r-normal-*-11-*" which is a lot better on my screen. Any ideas of a good font? (it has to be specified like this and should be common to must linux distributions) You can try different fonts with 'xfontsel'. You can edit the ac3dprefsfile to test AC3D with different fonts. If no one says anything the default will be the above 11 size... Andy |

Re: Default font for Linux AC3D
Never knew about that file!
Anyway, seems fine with the newer choice, but will we get to keep the preference file? I sometimes like bigger text... Thanks Andy . StarTux |

Re: Default font for Linux AC3D
It tries to get the font nearest to the one you ask for. Different setups wil have different fonts.
Yes - you will alway be able to edit the font from the ac3dprefs file in the linux version. Andy |
