Default Transparency?

Is there any option for transparency?
I tried to make a window. I made up a texture in photoshop and I want it transparent. Anyone can help?

The only options I know of for transparency is under material edit. Just right-click on an existing color close to what you are looking for (in the materials bar lower left corner ) and select Append new material. This will add the material to the right end of the material bar. Assign the new material to your surface(s). Go to the new material and right-click again and select "Edit Material and all the options are there (including transparency). I am not sure how a transparent texture will work, if I use a texture with a transparent "Alpha" channel, it makes that part of the surface transparent.

you can do what Fox says above but if you make a tga in PS and have an alpha layer the TGA will show up transparent in AC3D.
