Default Just curious

Hope no one minds, I'm just getting started with this 3D program, anyway.

What file system do most use when developing a graphic in AC3D? What I'm interested in is the file process, the names and saves (Number of and types of titles)

Say one is developing a single graphic of one particular airplane, what stages would one save, and how many, and why. I mean the general break-down or order of the seperate save(s) (Drawing developments stages), and what kind of file name are assigned to these seperate saves so that you know what is what when you go to open a past save..

I start outed wilth "Plot 1 and Plot 2 and so on but after 10 seperate saves I lose track of what is what. (I usually look at thumbnails of graphic files to see what it is however this is not available with AC3D files .ac and they don't show up in my Picasa viewer) I wonder how other s approach this similar task.

I am fully aware it all depends on the particular project, However I am only looking for a very general guideline. :?:
