A Little Pony
This is still a work in progress. But I would greatly appreciate some feedback. I'll explain the purpose of this model a bit later. |

Re: A Little Pony
Very cute. Is it a reason you have triangulated the surfaces or is it just to control how the smoothing will work on exported model?

Also, I like how it looks edit: also, I always thought it was a kind of necessity... especially since exported models always end up triangulated anyway. :P Last edited by avesthefox; 14th March 2011 at 08:56 PM. |

Re: A Little Pony
I see. I never triangulate my models, because you get more polys that the computer have to handle, and quads are easyer to modify than tris in my opinion, but then again I usually have huge models Also exporting to obj. files usually dont triangulate the model. Its a bit dependent on what program you import it to as well. Some triangulate when importing, and some dont. Anyway, I cant see much wrong with your pony actually. Nice modeling

Re: A Little Pony
Very nice!
Nothing wrong with triangulating, it all ends up triangles when it gets to the graphics card anyway. |

Re: A Little Pony
Very nice work. What are your plans to do with it? I would like to see it in a wooded area with a Spring Fairy or two. Just a thought.
