Default Problem with wavefront object file

I have a large model file ( test1.obj ) that will load in to ac3d. The problem that I am having is that if i try to do anything with the file the program gives me the following error:

Last Error (not necessarily the problem): Not enough storage is available to process this command.

I hope that there is some way to solve this. Out of all the different cad/optimization programs that I have tried, ac3d is the only one that doesn't crash when loading the file.

The file size is: 214 megabytes
The number of vertices is: 6,479,324
The number of faces is: 3,239,662

Here is a link for the file in zip format ( 30.4 megabytes)

Any help with this problem will be greatly appreciated.
