Default Need help with axes

Hi

I have the following problem and wondered if anyone could help.

The final goal is to export an object into 3ds file format with a specific axis convention, which is :
-x to the right of the object,
-y toward the front of the object, and
-z up.

But in AC3D, I can't seem to be able to change axis orientations which are by default :
- x to the right
- y up
- z backward

Is it possible to change axis orientations? Otherwise, is it possible to obtain a
3DS file with the correct orientation?

thanks for any help

Andy

Rotate the complete scene and then save it

Andy,

There is an option at File->Settings->Files->3DS-Swap-YZ which is on by default - changing this might give you what you want.

AC3D's axis are fixed and cannot be changed (y is always up) but you can reconfigure the views from Views->Configure-views, if you want to change the layout of the windows/views.
