Default iHam3D

I haven't modeled much in ages, I mean actually crafted something and posted a picture.

I begin fresh with the one thing I heard a woman speaking at SIGGRAPH say "the industry" doesn't want to see, space ships.

Here's to you, lady.

Hints, tips, tutorials on fast spaceship making in AC3D would be welcome.

I have kids to impress, thats my "industry".

You had a nice collection of ships in that movie. How about some bigger pictures of some of them?

Here are the Ac3D Model Files

Be my guest.

I have been going through the motions of open sourcing iGame3D,
my little models are certainly free for all.

Is that a Skipray Blastboat? Sure looks like one. Nice models, I'll have to get that game.

EDIT: By the looks of it, I can replace the current ".obj" models of the fighters with my own, correct? Then just put my own textures in, too, right? That's a quite fun game. Your work is posted on that site, so did you write that game? If you did, that's pretty cool.

If it looks like something familiar thats good.
I just kept extruding and scaling faces.

The models in iFly3D are WTF format.
There is an ac3d exporter for that, currently we have issues
with the UV's on import of some models.

I'd love AC3D and iGame3D to be seamless, but right now
network code has taken priority.

I have a thread here for the exporter

The files you would want to maniuplate are in the Data folder
,on Mac thats inside of the application bundle.

In the file in path /Data/Levels/TurretTest/load script.lua
The current main level is TurretTest
The players plane is "avatarp1.wtf"
change it to your WTF files in path /Data/WTF/

The lines of code to change names in look like this:
Code:
gObjects[1].cObj=make(ig3d_object, "avatarp1.wtf")
There is an issue at this point with Bones and guns.
There are bones inside the model that tell the particles where to eject from.

Keep, modeling cool craft, and I'll get you some easy way of
merging your work to fly from AC3D seamlessly.
