Default Ac3d on freeBSD question

Hello,
I have just successfully installed AC3D on a FreeBSD 6.2 workstation, (in Linux compatibility mode, based on Fedora core 4). Now I've only play around a few with your demos models but everything seems to work well. So, before buy your software, I would know if someone else had never used AC3D on FreeBSD before, or if you know about problems could arise between AC3D and FreeBSD.

Thanks
Erisk

Default Re: Ac3d on freeBSD question

Apologies for reviving this topic but this is especially relevant for me.

Have any of the developers got AC3D compiled on FreeBSD? Since you have a working linux port, it really should be trivial (<1 hour job at most).

I really don't want to have to use the buggy Linux abi compatibility layer and blender just makes me too angry to use lol.

If there is any interest in doing this, please let me know if you need some help.

Best Regards,

Karsten
