extrude advancement
i think ive sugested this before, anyways...
the extrude tool is one of the most usefull tools in any 3d modeller. the problem with ac3d's extrude tool, is that it only extrudes objects. say youve got a box, that you want to extrude one edge(rather that one surface): example: sure you could just make a rect, then move the vertexs around, but say youve got a more complicated edge, with lots of vertexs... theres other ways of doing it, but its not "beginner" couldnt the fuction be 'advance', to do this? Re: extrude advancement
Extrude currently works on the edges of whole surfaces, but per edge will be added in the future. Until then to extrude an edge, try this:
Select the vertices Vertex->create-ordered-surface Extrude Andy |
