Default PLUGIN: select-by-texture available

All,

I've written a new AC3D plugin for selecting objects in your scene with a specific texture. Find it at:

http://supercoldmilk.com/ac3dplug/seltex.html

This is a Windows plugin. As with all plugins here, all source is available for compilation on other platforms.

See all plugins at: http://supercoldmilk.com/ac3dplug/index.html

The "Select Objects With Texture" plugin has been updated to fix an internal redraw/status flaw. Without this fix, you may notice that your Object/Surface/Vertex menus stay dimmed after issuing a "select objects with texture" if nothing was previously selected. Without this fix, you would have to re-select your mode (group/obj/etc) or something similar to force the refresh.

The update is at the link in the above post.

One of our fellow AC3D users AJ MacLeod has been kind enough to port the seltex plugin over to Linux.

He's provided e version for Gentoo x86, which we've made available at the original link above,

More importantly, the updated source code should compile under any Linux flavor - drop me a message if you have any problems here.

I have compiled this plugin for MacOS-X using X-Code 4.0.2 based on the v1.0.1 source code available here http://www.inivis.com/supercoldmilk/...ex.html#seltex

Verified to work in AC3D 6.7 & 6.8 as well as 7.5.02 using OS-X 10.11.2.

Please let me know if there are any issues.

cheers
Peter

Aloha all,
I would love to have this plugin.
It would save me so much time.
I am in the process of rebuilding a 41' garden Ketch (Yankee Clipper), also known as a CT 41.
504 objects so far. I would love to merge all objects with the same texture.

The links don't work.
Any help would really be appreciated.

The link to my Macintosh version above does work for me.

If you are looking for the original source code or Windows version you may find it on Andy's supercoldmilk-mirror: http://www.inivis.com/supercoldmilk.html

cheers
