Default A little learning

I'm still not using AC3D to its fullest. I think I use maybe 10% of its capabilities. So, to try and learn more, I'm doing a scene build for a SciFi story I'm trying to build both a game and a movie around. I'm thinking of moving this to blender once done. Spent a few hours modeling a sofa. This is the first revision after a few false starts:

Second revision, changed some details to remove the stippling caused by excessive vertices at an edge, but need to do more work on this.

I've found the trick to sub-division modeling is "Less is More!" The attached couch, inspired by your first design, has about 375 vertexes total before subdividing.

I think your stippling is caused by triangles or unwelded vertexes on the edges.
