Default How to make a hole in a surface ?

Hello everybody,

the make hole command makes a hole at the center of the surface. please tell me how i can make a hole at some other place.
suppose the house i am modelling has two windows and a door how can i cut the holes for them ?
will be thankful if u can help.

if you have a surface and want two windows and a door ... have to divide surface into 3 parts then run the make hole command

So you make a hole in each subdivision.

Actually that's just one way to do it. Like a lot of things you do in AC3D, or 3D modelling in general, there is usually more than one way. Which way you do things often depends on how you like to work.

If you divide the surface enough times there'll be no need for making holes, you can just delete individual surfaces.
