Default Syntax Error

Hi,

yesterday i downloaded and installed the AC3D 6 demo version. Everything worked fine until today (after working on a model) the program started to give me error messages whenever i was trying to maximize a window.

I restarted the program (by now the notebook too) but the error remains:

Code:
syntax error in expression "(1118/100.0)*50": looking for close parenthesis
syntax error in expression "(1118/100.0)*50": looking for close parenthesis
    while executing
"expr ($w/100.0)*$prefs_window_3d_width_percent"
    (procedure "configure_views" line 13)
    invoked from within
"configure_views"
    (command bound to event)
The (not so) funny thing is that the models don't appear in the view-windows anymore. I tried reopening saved files but the views only show the background color.
The same thing happens with the AC3D samples, so i don't think the files became corrupted.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I'd say that you should reset the settings to defaults (file->settings), since it looks like some of the settings have become corrupt.

Do you know what the last thing you did before this happened was?

Geez, 7 minutes! Now THAT is fast!

Resetting the settings helped, thanks very much andy!

As to what I did last: I had background-images assigned to top-, left- and front-view. Then I wanted to switch from left- to right-view using a different background-image.

The image was shown correctly and then I tried to find the key-combo to size it, trying some alt-ctrl-cursor, alt-shift-cursor, ctrl-shift-... etc.

I know that this is too unprecise to really reproduce the error, sorry, but unfortunately I can't put the finger on in.

Anyway, thanks again and if I can reproduce it I will post back in here.
