Thank you griff for your answer.
I mean the lines that connect the vertices - they are visible, and I guess it has to do with vertex shading.
Anyway, I've this issue when I export to .3DS from within AC3D. If I export to .X instead, that lines are no more visible, and the surfaces appear correct as expected.
So, better to export to .X than to .3DS.
