I'm not sure what you want exactly but....
Within any AC3D viewport, including the 3D, click on the "Camera" button, then the "Copy Image to Windows clipboard".
Now open any Photo processing program (Photoshop or PaintShopPro of the like) and under, say "Edit" click "Paste as new image".
You may now modify your A3CD image to suit and then save as a Jpg, tiff or Gif independent of AC3D. Hope that helps.
