AC3D Forums - View Single Post - POV-Ray?

Hey. I'm not quite sure where to ask this, but..
I just recently got POV-Ray, and I'm trying to render some things is AC3D. I'm wondering: does anyone know how to tell POV-Ray what certain objects are? For example, it keeps making the windows (I have a house that I modeled) non-transparent. How can I tell it that they are windows, and you should be able to see through them? :?:
For the record, I'm running it on Linux. (Don't know if that makes a difference)
