So, the simplest way would be set this object to one-sided, facing out (exterior)...
duplicate it and flip the duplicate normals so the faces face in, (interior)
scale it down on the width and height axis...

Lock the interior, in vertex mode select the door outline on the exterior (loop select should work well here) then extrude the edges inward. (ctr+e) Try to line them up with the interior door opening... You could also extrude the interior door opening outward and have two extrusion meet in the middle...

P.S.,

It might be a good idea to texture map the exterior before you duplicate it so the interior will be mapped, too.
