Well, I've been playing around here.

I drew some polylines and made the surface type poly.
Extrudes fine...

I drew the outline of my guitar and when I click on poly, BOOM, it turns all black. I just don't understand.

I even drew a somewhat shape of the guitar without the background image and this time it worked. I clicked on poly and I did'nt get the all black, it was white this time. Extruded fine.

What the heck is going on here. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. I am totally confused.
