Configurable commands
Hi everybody!
A good idea for ac3d and every user that comes in touch with the program would be configurable comands (file, edit, view, object, surface....) etc. at the "surface" menu I don't want the command "change vertex order" See ya! Malekovits |

Yes, as Livewire says - you can edit the files in the tcl folder to change your menus.
You should learn about tcl/tk and be very careful - only work on a backup installation of AC3D. Andy |

Hey Andy - how difficult would it be for a non programmer (me  ) to assign my own hot keys for insert vertex, and slice surface as I find myself using them a lot (now that I know about them).
Thanks again for a wonderful program, I'm still having fun Art |

It's quite easy - have a look at the *.tcl files in the tcl folder.
Look for the bind commands. There are lots of docs and examples on tcl.tk out there. If you find some useful (unused) key combinations for functions you use a lot, let me know and we'll add them into the next release. Andy |
