Are you trying to import VRML 2 or VRMl 1. If you are trying VRML 2 then it won't work - only a subset of VRML1 is available.

Is that vrml 1 IndexedFaceSets or objects written in all of the aspects of vrml 1? and do you plan on adding a vrml 2 importer?

VRML is Virtual Reality Modeling Language. It is the language that creates the objects on 3d chat sites. Here is a link to a VRML Tutorial.
http://mega.ist.utl.pt/~ic-cg/labora...ial/index.html This is the one I used to begin my journey through VRML. I use VrmlPad as my editor, but as the site will tell you; NotePad will work also. May you find VRML as exciting and fun as I have. ![]() Last edited by Klyde; 24th April 2008 at 01:28 AM. |

As of the moment there is no vrml 2 import, but.... there is a vrml 1 import. So change your vrml 2 to a vrml 1 and then it should work. Havent tried this as of yet, but am planning on it.

Have found a program to help us both- named White_Dune, it will import VRML2 (if the complete object code is all in one file) and will export to AC3D format.
