Is there a way to select only the vertices on top or in front of a window? If I drag a window to select multiple surfaces or vertices at the same time it selects everything behind it also. For instance milkshape has a feature that says ignore back faces or something like that. Is there something similar in ac3d? thanks

I find the easiest way to select single surfaces is to CTRL-Left click on the 3D window. To select more than one surface, use SHIFT-CTRL-left click on each additional surface.
Vertices are a little more difficult because it's sometimes hard to determine where on the 3D model the vertice exists. So I click on the vertice in one of the 2D models so it will be highlighted on the 3D model. If only one is selected, then great. If not, then I can CTRL-left click on the vertice I wish to keep. |
