Edit-->Select Vertices-Boundry, Outer, Whole?
In AC3D6, there are some new functions under the Edit menu: namely Edit-->Select Vertices-Boundry, Outer, whole.
I have tinkered with AC3D6 and have not been able to figure out exactly what they do. I did a search through the manual and didn't find mention of them. Anyone know exactlly what they do? |

It would be nice to get these documented.
These functions require that you already have a set of vertices selected. Boundary = select all vertices at the edge of your selection Outer = select all vertices that are on the "outside edge" of geometry (selects vertices that are part of an edge that is only connected to one surface) Whole surfaces = select all surfaces in which one or more vertices are selected HTH Dennis |

Edit-->Select Vertices-Boundry, Outer
Thanks for the reply, Dennis
I have been able to produce an example of "Select-Vertices-Whole" and "Outer", but I have been unable to come up with an example of "Boundry" that isn't exactly the same thing as "Outer". Also, when I do a "Edit-->Select Vertices-Boundry" and then do an Edit - undo operation, the message that I get is "Undo Select Outer Vertices". |
