Help with creating a Scupty for Second Life
Ok, so I am totally new at this and became stuck after watching the wine glass tutorial and wanted to try something on my own based off that video.
Below is the screen shot on what I was working on. As you can see I outline the shape I was working with. Then smoothed it with spline. In the wine video Resolve was used. But I want to retain the shape I have other then making it slightly wedge shape along the X axis. How do I create this into an object now? Or am I going about this the wrong way to create something like this for SL? Thanks! |

Re: Help with creating a Scupty for Second Life
I believe that I figured it out, I'm guessing I was going about it the wrong way and ended up loading a SL Sculpty shapes and morphed it into do different parts.

Re: Help with creating a Scupty for Second Life
Sculpty shapes is the best way to do it as they're already mapped, so you've already hit on the best solution.
If you wanted to make it from scratch and map it yourself, you'd need the extrude tool to make it work. |
