Mirror without unifying
Hello Andy,
could it be possible to add a mirror-cmd without unifying the objects? I mostly need the mirrored object separatly. Greetings gogo |

Re: Mirror without unifying
It would be possible but it would add a lot to an already complicated menu and may be confusing for some.
How about selecting all the new surfaces then using Surface->Cut-Away-Object? That should perform the same function. |

Re: Mirror without unifying
Hello Andy
Unfortunately not. Example: Complex front of a bus, consisting of 3 objects (front, side, roof). These should be retained when mirroring -> similar rear of the bus, for further processing of the 3 objects. In addition, the texture is also lost during the "cut-away". I use this type of mirroring very often. I achieve my goal with a few more work steps, and would have liked it to be easier. All good. Greetings Gogo |
