Question Extrude with Cap end?

Hi Andy!

A year or two ago, I printed out the AC3D User Manual on paper. Under "Operations on surfaces" > "Extruding", there is an illustration that shows a window with "Gridsnap" and "Select though" checkboxes. Under those two options, there are three more options, "Cap end", "Flip new surf", and "Remove end?".

The on-line menu no longer shows, or even mentions, these three options. So, I assume these options have been removed from the software? Is that true?

If that is true, what is the best method for extruding a set of planar surfaces to produce an enclosed volume suitable for use as a Boolean "subtract" object?

Thank you for your reply, and your amazing software! Respectfully, John Vybiral
