Default Sea Horse

It's a sea horse!

Modeled in AC3D, textures in Corel, rendered in Poser.

Very impressive textures! Nice model as well, did you use box modeling, or edge extrusion for it?

Box modelling primarily, with judicious use of the "bevel" tool.

I video recorded the whole job; I'm hoping when I have some extra time maybe to turn it into some video tutorials.

Great job, it's really nice! I hope you do turn it into a tutorial, I would love to watch them!

Thanks all!

Here's a slightly revised render. The head was seeming a little too large for the body, so I tweaked the proportions a bit.

Quite remarkable! I haven't seen very many animal models around here. It looks almost 100% real. Is it supposed to be a specific species or is it just a generic sea horse?

Could you please post a screenshot of the non-textured or a wireframe model?
I admire artists who can do organic structures so well and I would like to get an impression of the poly count on such a model.

Thanks.
