Default animation

So any word on animation yet? Any chance the next release of ac3d will support animation?

Thanks

I've asked this question before, and been told that to integrate animation would require a HUGE,all-encompassing change in how the code is written. It's not a "drop-in" type of feature or something that can be handled in a plug-in. Thus, this certainly wouldn't be something to expect in "the next version", if at all.

I'm hoping someone might correct me and tell me that it's coming soon but, that's the impression I have gotten.

Hey Andy correct me if I am wrong, but I thought at one point you were planning to put in animation. Believe me I understand it is no simple task. Just curious if that is still planned.

One day

The next addition is one that is actually been asked for more - better subdivision-surface support. This has been implemented and should be going into alpha soon.
