I did that, and I was able to tag AC3D as a program with special settings including turning the anti-aliasing off (it had a setting.) Nothing changed when I changed those settings. Same result with the AC3D 9 software.

Yes, it sounds like anti-aliasing is switched on. Have a look through the nVidia control panel.

OK! Your instructions were close enough to fix the problem. windows 11 search found the "nVidia control panel" and while switching all the anti-aliasing flags did nothing, I did switch the Preferred graphics processor from "auto select" to "high-performance Nvidia processor" and now it works like it should. I'm guessing our beloved AC3D doesn't wake up the nvidia processor.

AC3D asks for OpenGL on startup, but on some systems it is given the built-in graphics version. You can tell what AC3D pics up from the console message displayed when AC3D starts. Always work checking if you have any graphics problems.

Glad you got it sorted 8)

that console blurb flashes away so fast, is it saved in a log file that I can review? I still don't have it working on my other pc.

To make the console hang around: File->Settings->Advanced->Show-Windows-Console.
