Select Through Key Shortcut
Hi,
is there a button shortcut for the activation and deactivation of the "select through" option? thanks, W. |

Re: Select Through Key Shortcut
There isn't but you could add one via a script. What keypress-combination would you like to toggle it?

Re: Select Through Key Shortcut
Wow, that was fast and it's a really good question.
Perhaps 'shift + s' or 'alt + s' or the same with 't'? It's only an idea... |

Re: Select Through Key Shortcut
Sorry to get your hopes up but it's not possible from a script (without a large amount of work and changes to the original code). Whilst it is possible to change the setting on a key press, the UI checkbox would not automatically update. So, the check box would not reflect the actual status of select-through.
Perhaps consider leaving select-through ticked and using shift+control+left-mouse to 'drag-select' the nearest geometry. (use shift+control+right-mouse to remove from selection) |
