I think everyone would like animation tools for AC3D.

Poser is ridiculously easy to learn, and it's very cheap compared to 3Ds. It's about $250 US for the latest version; I got mine as a promotional upgrade for $100.

Honestly, pirating 3DS hurts the independent game and film industries. It damages the market for affordable mid-range alternatives that small studios rely on.

is there a free trial verion to try first, because i work it at about £130 which is still a little bit too much to risk!

cool, thanks lisa, i am really struggling for a good animation program that works with ac3d, i can't believe they haven't interagted one into the program, everybody wants it!

Well, last I heard it boils down to this:
The way AC3D is set up right now is incompatible with animation, and that to add animation to AC3D would require pretty much an entire rewrite of the program, from scratch.

Least, I think that was the explanation, last I heard.
Not that I wouldn't shell out for a separate sister program to do animations in (sort of like how JASC had Paintshop Pro and Animation Shop as two different programs).
