I think this is it. I'm quite pleased with this model. It turned out quite nice. Amazing how detailed models you can make in AC3D. I attached a screenshot that should answer your question Andy.

Fantastic modelling, as always. Absolutely brilliant. I have to agree that AC3D is a very versatile piece of kit if you take the time and work with it. Love this 'Bubble ship'.

Some renders with materials. I made a very simple texture and UV mapping and did most of the shine and reflections in Carrara. The renders took forever because of some blurry reflections I added to the metal.

I'd swear it was a shot from the movie. Awesome job.

I just had to remodel the neck. I like this one more, and its more like the original design. It took a while to redo. Its not the easiest model to make unfortunately

TBD, you can stop any day now....

I come to gander around the forums every few months and every time I do, I run into some beautiful work of art you've been working on. I politely ask you to stop it..

Just horsing around of course, this looks freaking awesome!

OK Johnathan, I will stop soon . Buuuuut in the meantime..........
Started to do the floating house/habitat thingy to get some more "dreamy" renders.
I'm not finished with the "house" but I got the renders I wanted. The cloudy background are a generic backgroundtexture found free on the web long ago. Just photoshoped the colors and sun and stuff to fit my needs .
