Default Re: Glass Erases Texture Behind the Glass

Hmmm.... usually hieirarchy change will fix this (it's a common issue when creating the aircraft cockpits and canopies I deal with all the time). The glass should be the lowest in the list, or at least "behind" any object which needs to show "through" the glass. Check your Hierrarchy list. It will probably help if all the glass panes are in ONE object, with the same properties and dropped to the very bottom of the list that appears when you press F8.

Keep in mind that, as you edit, the order of items in the hierarchy will change, so you may have to regularly select those glass panes and place them (back) at the bottom of the list.
