how do i prepare this model plane for 3D printing?
hi
this unusual 1950s russian jet prototype will be my first 3D printed model, to be in 1/48th scale will need to be 13 inches long. before sending to a 3D printer place is there a way i need to merge the parts in order to make parts like the wings and fuselage printed in one piece, like if i just highlight the fuselage and wings and click on object merge does that do the job or is there more i have to do? is there anything else i need to do to prepare it to be sent to a 3D printer? is there anythings i can do to make sure that it will be printed ok? i was hoping there would be a specific forum here for using ac3d for 3D printing but i dont see one. thanks |

Can't really tell just from pictures. You'd have to provide the model itself.
